This post is inspired by a recent article I read and recommend called:

Sound Gives Birth to Light: How our songs (and words) reach the Stars

In this article he shows how our prayers and songs reach the stars. This is true, as sound actually creates geometric forms that spread out forever.

We are all familiar with the first verses of the Bible.

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon
the face of the deep.
And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
And God said, let there be light: and there was light.”

It suggests God made a sound with his voice in order to create.

In St John’s Gospel we read:
In the beginning was the Word [Logos, sound of God’s voice]
and the Word was with God, and the Word was God…All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made…In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

(This last line reminds me of the negation UNITY concept of Willhem de Swart I mentioned in my previous post. The Darkness and Light are not opposites but actual negations of each other. They exist in perfect UNITY not affecting each other. One cannot exist where the other is. Such as reality and fantasy do not affect each other.)

The term ‘Logos’ is interchangeable with phrase ‘the Word’.
It refers to a Greek idea referring to the organizing principles of the cosmos.

These basic organizing principles can be thought of as the patterns in Marko Rodins Vortex Math. http://vortexmath.webs.com/ The Jewish philosopher Philo described the Logos as the active intermediary between the Creator and the material world.

Logos is similar to the Hebrew concept of Wisdom or Yahweh’s companion and aide in creation. Wisdom is mentioned in this context again on page 53 of Stephen S. Mehler’s book on the advent of Religion in ancient Egypt, called  ‘From Light into Darkness’.

On this page are two images. We see Djehuti (Thoth), masculine lunar Neter of Wisdom. Djehuti was the principle of the sacred sounds that led to writing (form). Seshat, was the Neter of sacred geometry and writing. Female Seshat provided the forms for the sacred sounds to produce the symbols for the first written scripts. Reminds me of Dr Hans Jenny’s CYMATICS. With his Tonoscope he was able to show how the human voice and sound created forms. http://www.cymatics.org/

Not surprisingly the origin of Greek and Jewish ideas—of God ‘speaking’ the Cosmos into existence can be found in ancient Egypt.

In 1805, the second Earl Spencer, an ancestor of Princess Diana, gifted an ancient Egyptian stone to the British Museum. The ‘Shabako Stone‘ tells of Ptah, the cosmic architect who created light and the cosmos simply by uttering words.

Predating the Old and New Testament by hundreds (and possibly thousands) of
years, lines 56-57 of the ancient Shabako Stone text states:

“Lo, every word of god came into being through the thoughts of
the mind and the command on the tongue.”

Here is where I run into a problem.

I heard Stephen say Hakim his teacher said that if had to be written down, it wasn’t the whole truth.

I understand this thinking. Our personal knowledge tells us truth and resides in our hearts.

It tells us what is right and wrong.

The creation of language can there fore be seen as a tool to ‘enslave’ one through law or as a way to entrench a ‘written’ reality. Then belief systems and consensus reality can be enforced. So…..then who are Djehuti (Thoth) and Seshat who introduced us to these concepts such as letters numbers and forms. Accounting, writing ? Yes they help law, trade and commerce but whose values have we inherited ?

Consciousness being eternal, in my opinion, cannot truly be constrained by this unless it agrees. So far we have agreed. However we can always explore outside what has been written. What about what can be spoken ? Creating new.

So back to the original work by John Stuart Reid.

He reminds us of a novel intriguing, magical, connection between sound and light,
It is the key to understanding how sound gives birth to light and why our words, songs and prayers reach the stars.

Transfer of vibrations between any two adjacent atoms or molecules, is known as ‘sound.’

As sound is traveling through air, atoms or molecules in the path of the
expanding sound pass on the sound vibrations. A chain reaction of movement.

Electromagnetic radiation or light is created as atoms collide and the light itself radiates away from the site of the collisions without requiring any medium.

So light can travel on and on forever through the ether or vacuum of space.

Now as to quality. Quite simply there is a direct relationship between the vibrational frequency of light and the vibrational frequency of the atoms that created it. Like makes like. Or as my mother always says, “The apple does not fall far from the tree.”

Beautiful sounds create beautiful cymatic forms, and chaotic sounds create chaotic forms. This principle is also seen in Dr. Masaru Emoto’s work with human intention of the written and spoken word on water crystals. Below you see two water samples crystalized before and after prayer was said over it.

Light created by atomic collisions in which the energy states and velocities are too low to create visible light , create infrared light. At even lower energy states and velocities, say a gentle caress of the skin, microwave radio frequencies are created. So now we know why a  gentle caresses can feel like electricity !  If the energy states and velocities are extremely high, X-ray and Gamma-ray radiation are created.

So we must be aware that our words, music and vocalized prayers are rushing into space as modulated infrared light.

This concept reminded me of a a quote from page 140 of Stephen’s book;

“In describing the sacred name of God, the tetragrammatom Yod-He-Vod-He, the Kabala states, it is the sound that rusheth through the universe. ”

Tetragrammaton looks like a little human when you stack up the hebrew letters.

Also it seems to reflect tetra (hedral) and Grammer !! WORDS

This information is a good reminder that our vocal responses are powerful and affect all.

We would do well to heed the ancient hieroglyphic advice below.

“In front of heart command tongue.”

Don Miguel Ruiz beautifully describes this Light:

“Light is a living being. There are billions of different vibrations of light. Light carries all the information for any kind of life on Planet Earth.
